- I'm new to Gintama and started with the season 3 Dub. Other than missing some backstory, it didnt feel like i was missing too too much from the first 265 episodes. After finishing it, I tried Episode 1 and 317 Subbed, but have gotten use to the Dub and would rather wait. I'll take a passable dub over a sub any day.
- There aren’t any dubs made for season 1, Gintama. To be honest, dubbing Gintama is pointless anyway. 90% of the comedy is within the wordplay. Japanese puns and wordplay don’t directly translate into English.
